Is lunch included on this tour?
Yes. Lunch is included at Elk + Ave Hotel. There will also be a selection of light meals, ice cream and snacks-to-go at Castle Mountain Coffee Co., Northern Lights and Starbucks at the Banff Gondola, and the Black Anchor Snack Shop at Lake Minnewanka.
What does this tour highlight?
You will visit several locations around the town of Banff, including Bow Falls, Banff Gondola and Lake Minnewanka Cruise.
How long is the boat cruise?
The Lake Minnewanka Cruise will last approximately one hour.
Are there washrooms on the boat?
Motor coaches are equipped with washroom facilities, but the boats are not. There are washroom facilities in the Lake Minnewanka parking lot a few minutes’ walk from the docks, so guests should use those before heading down to the docks.
What can I do if I don’t want to go on the Banff Gondola?
The Banff Gondola lower terminal has a gift shop, Starbucks and a lounge area with a patio (open in summer). There are areas to walk around and relax with the views.
How much time will we get at the Banff Gondola?
Most groups spend approximately 1.5 hours at the Banff Gondola. Admission to the Banff Gondola is included in the tour price.
Will I get to see Lake Louise on this tour?
No. Lake Louise is not a sightseeing highlight on this tour.
Do we get to stop and view the lake at Lake Minnewanka?
Yes. There will be time to explore Lake Minnewanka and grab a snack. You will also have an opportunity to take the seasonal lake cruise.
What should I bring with me on my tour?
A camera is recommended and dress in layers appropriate for the weather. You may bring snacks and drinks. If your tour ends in a different location from your departure point, bring any necessary luggage.
What should I wear on my tour?
Bring layers (temperatures can vary), good walking shoes with grip, a camera, sunscreen and some light snacks.

Yes. Sightseeing tours are family-friendly. For small children, car seats or boosters are required.

Yes. Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.

Full refunds are provided if cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled departure time.
Do you offer a locals discount on your tours?
Locals tickets must be purchased in person at least 30 minutes prior to departure and proof of residency is required. Some restrictions apply—ask when purchasing.
What amenities do the sightseeing motor coaches have?
The 52-seat luxury motor coaches feature large windows for unobstructed views, onboard washroom facilities, reclining seats, climate control, onboard refreshments served, and a professionally trained tour guide.
Is there Wi‑Fi on the sightseeing motor coach?
No. Wi‑Fi is not available on sightseeing tours as they travel through areas without reception.
Will I see wildlife on the tour?
Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Bears, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, deer and other animals live in the parks and sightings are unpredictable.
What is your baggage liability policy?
Baggage liability is limited to $500 for loss or damage per passenger. Do not leave high-value items in luggage stored beneath the coaches.
Is it free to enter Banff and Jasper National Parks?
No. Parks Canada requires adult visitors to buy a permit for the duration of their stay. Day Passes or a yearly Discovery Pass can be purchased in person at Parks Canada gates and information centres in Banff and Jasper. Admission for youth 17 and under is free.
What is the physical difficulty level of the tour?
Tours involve short disembarks for views and photos and do not require more than a stroll. Due to high altitude, some guests may find physical activities slightly more strenuous. If assistance is needed, speak with a team member.
